What is Jyotish?

Jyotish is a comprehensive system of astrology developed in India, also known as Vedic astrology.

Based on the unique place, date, and time of your birth, the configuration of planets and stars, relative to that point in space and time, acts as a unique cosmic blueprint for your individual life. There are certain qualities, characteristics, and potentialities specific to you in this lifetime, and what you do with those is up to you.

After initially being exposed to Jyotish several years ago through Renay Oshop in Boulder, Colorado, I completed an intensive Jyotish study in 2024 with Anand Mehrotra, based near Rishikesh, India. In Sattva Jyotish, we treat Jyotish as an integrated part of the yogic tradition. In your reading, we will explore your natal chart to help guide you toward realizing your full potential for growth and evolution in this life, focused on uplifting toward the highest expression. With infinite applications, anything you would like to know about in your life is related to Jyotish. Your reading also includes personalized recommendations for supportive measures and next steps. I offer Jyotish readings as stand-alone single sessions, along with options for follow-up sessions and ongoing support.
